Structural & Stormwater Engineering

Seismic Engineering
AS 1170.4 Section 8 clearly states the requirements for all building services to have non-structural seismic design support within all IL3 and IL4 construction. Whether the project is a new or existing structure, our team of experts can assist in reviewing and advising on cost effective solutions for the seismic restraint of all fit-out elements. We consult directly with all relevant stakeholders to improve the feasibility of all building services and to avoid any clashes.
Expert Witness
With so many construction matters and disputes being processed through NCAT and/or local and supreme courts, we believe it is important to have a engineering partner that you can trust to provide an impartial & unbiased expert opinion. The aim of our team is to identify the project failures/defects, determine root causes, prevent future risks, and provide tailored recommendations so that disputes can be resolved and both compliance and justice is reached moving forward. We fully accept and abide by the Expert Witness Code of Conduct and our advise is backed by technical knowledge, commercial awareness and years of real-world project experience.
Strata Remediation
The focus of strata remediation is to ensure issues are accurately diagnosed and properly rectified. Our involvement would include both technical expertise and project management services. Assessment of the root cause for issues such as cracking, water ingress, concrete spalling, or structural movement, is key to providing durable design solutions that are compliant to NCC/DBP requirements. Our aim, through coordination with builders and contractors, is to eliminate the risk of recurring defects, inaccurate methodologies, costly rework, and potential safety hazards for occupants. Ultimately, our involvement protects both the physical integrity of the building and the financial interests of the owners corporation.
